Homework due 23.2.15

Poppy Making. As part of our topic to celebrate WWI centenary we looked at 'Blood Swept Lands of Sea and Red' by the artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper. We created our own version of their ceramic poppies out of mod roc and wire.

Class Tapestries. As part of our topic about The Norman Invasion we looked at The Bayeaux Tapestry. We talked about the story it told and used it as a stimulus to create our own tapestries to tell everyone something about the story of our life at Staplegrove School. The children worked really hard and I'm sure you agree, the results look fantastic!!
