Homework – 11.12.2017

Your homework this week is to complete the following tasks and get a signature from an adult to show you have completed them:

  • Your spelling activities in your homework book
  • Page 15 & 16 in your Maths SAT book
  • Page 30 & 31 in your GPS book
  • Page 24 in your Reading Practice Questions book

Please go through your SPaG & Maths book at home with an adult and bring your homework book and Reading Practice Questions book into school on Monday 18th December 2017.

On Thursday, Willow Class was lead in Collective Worship by Rev Kivett. They heard about the story of the man who was unable to walk and considered the Christian values demonstrated by the story.

  • Page 36 & 37  in your GPS book
  • Page 8 and 22 in your Maths SAT book

Please go through your Maths and SPaG book at home with an adult and bring your homework book and Reading Questions Practice Book into school on Monday 20th November 2017.

During our Values Day, Willow class considered the values of Courage and Peace. We looked at David and Goliath and The Arrest of Jesus and thought about what these stories taught us about the values. The children enjoyed making Mod-Roc poppies and origami doves to represent the values.

Harvest

Willow Class researched the Open Door Charity and prepared a presentation for the parents. A group of girls also did a fantastic song about the charity. 

Values Day

Willow Class had a fantastic day exploring the values of Generosity and Thankfulness. We played a game of 'pass the parcel' with a difference and made generosity coupons and thank you cards.
