Willow Class

Welcome to Willow Class Page

Please come and visit often and see all the exciting things we have been up to!

Willow Class thoroughly enjoyed their Pilgrim Day at St. Mary Magdalene Church where they were able to participate in a number of activities and worship.
Willow Class worked extremely hard during SATs week and the whole school are very proud of them. They all demonstrated an excellent attitude and their determination and resilience shone through during the week. To relax between tests, the children enjoyed playing rounders in the sunshine, where they demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. The children enjoyed special breakfasts, including pain au chocolate. cereal bars and a fry-up! They celebrated the end of the tests by a well-deserved play in the park (along with an ice- cream) and a pizza lunch! Well done everybody!

Someone Stole Prince Harry's Speech!

Willow Class have spent the morning being Private Investigators! We've used our knowledge of fractions to work with a partner to solve puzzles and problems to identify who stole Prince Harry's wedding speech...

It's been a very busy morning - we'll be sure to let you know who the guilty party is before the wedding!

The children (and teachers!) loved relaxing the curriculum for our Science Week! The children rose to the challenge they were given: 'To design and make an electronic toy.' The designs were all different and very ambitious and the children worked superbly in their groups, adapting their designs as required to make them a reality. We can't wait for the next Science Week!

Hinkley Point

The children really enjoyed the day spent with Hinkley Point staff. They completed a number of challenges, which built on their understanding of energy and had the opportunity to ask questions of the 'experts'.

Fairtrade Conference

Fun with angles

Willow Class enjoyed learning about the faith of Hinduism as part of Interfaith Day. They made Rangoli patterns out of dried food.
