How to be an Editor

Cedar Class were learning how to help a friend to edit their work. We wore special editing glasses, and together we made a help card to remind us how to be the best Editor we can. We are looking forward to editing our next piece of work!

Summer 2015

A fabulous French feast. Thank you Miss Darrie. A celebratory session to end the children's year long French learning. Can they name all the food they ate in French?

Fencing- Try a new sport. Well done to everyone for their enthusiasm on Tuesday. Special mention to Chloe and Danny, chosen by the coaches for their perseverance and skill, well done to William for his refereeing

Aabacus Log ins

Just to clarify; the children have new passwords but their user name remains the same- the first 4 letters of their name and surname eg Matilda Jones would be matijone all lower case.

I hope this sorts out any confusion.

Please ask or pop a note in your child's contact book if you need any more information.

I will continue to set weekly tasks for the children- they can complete them in school if you do not have internet access- just let me know.

Thank you

Mrs Addyman

What makes us healthy activity. Analysing cereal. We were surprised at the amount of sugar in Bran Flakes!!

Exploring circuits

We have been very busy creating our Mythical Beasts and this week we will be writing our own myths based on our creations.

Well done to every one ...the science homework was fantastic and we all learnt a lot from each

For example- did you know that the word SPANDEX is an anagram of the word EXPANDS?

And that many things we use today were invented by accident or for a different purpose?

Ask your child what they have discovered from their friends. smiley
