Zumba for Lepra
Cedar and Willow Classes took part in a Zumba session to celebrate the amount of money raised for Lepra. Thank you to everyone for their contributions. We had a great time!
Cedar Class spent a whole morning at Wellsprings Leisure Centre for a Leadership Festival run by Year 10s from The Academy. We all had lots of fun and learnt a lot about styles of leadership and what kind of leaders we are.
Yera 5 Sports Festival
As part of our Topic work on Inventors and Inventions, Cedar and Willow classes worked in mixed teams to design and build a bridge. They had to research different types of bridges and then decide on a final design. Each bridge had to meet certain criteria: 30cm long, be aesthetically pleasing, flat for a car to drive across and hold weights. We had a lot of fun!
