Elm Class

Welcome to Elm Class 2015-16! Here you can find lots of information and photos letting you know what we have been learning in class.

This afternoon we have been learning about first aid. The children all got to have a go at doing CPR on a dummies.

Elm class had a lovely time looking for pirate treasure in our nature area.

Today we all learnt the Sport Relief dance. We had great fun learning all the dance moves. We then went outside to do our golden mile!

We made porridge for the three bears! We then ate our yummy porridge for snack.

Today we have been learning all about Chinese new year. The children have had a food tasting session, trying noodles and prawn crackers. We have also made our own Chinese dragons and enjoyed learning all about the signs of the Zodiac.

A selection of photots to show some of our fantastic learning from this half term.

This half term we have been looking at our story 'The Gruffalo's Child'. We have enjoyed making houses for our own woodland creatures, acting out our story outside with costumes, drawing cave paintings and going on a Gruffalo hunt in our nature area!

Rowan class have been learning about 'The Owl and the Pussy Cat'. We were lucky enough to go and watch Mr Harding and Mrs Palmer perform a Waltz. After we had seen them we decided to have a go ourselves.

We had great fun making vegetable soup. Lots of us liked eating it too.
