Barton Hall Day 2
Unfortunately, we are currently having problems uploading any photos to this page. We will keep trying but in the meantime know that your children are all in bed asleep after a busy but very fun day.
Our stars of the week for the Spring Term (so far) have been:
Seb, who received a Ready certificate for always being ready to focus, work hard and make good contributions in class.
Jess, who received a Responsible certificate for applying her maths learning effectively to tricky situations and taking pride in her work in English.
Sam, who received a Ready certificate for working hard in all subjects, in a group and particularly when working independently.
Cadey-Leigh, who received a Ready certificate for her excellent reasoning in maths and her willingness to lead the class in sharing her thinking.
Willow Class had a fun and successful time at the Taunton Academy P.E. Festival on October 6th. They were split into three teams and competed against teams from other schools in netball, tag rugby, frisbee and handball. All three teams impressed with their teamwork and tactical play, which we had been thinking about in P.E. lessons, but particular congratulations must go to Team 1, who achieved joint first place out of all of the schools competing.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
