A
very warm welcome to our school website!!
If
you are new to our school, I hope gives you a real taster
of what our school is like and what happens here. If
you are already with us, I hope you have enjoyed browsing
the site and have found it informative and helpful!!
Our
school is a perfect size(around 200 pupils), allowing
us to run 7 straight aged classes. The classes are all
around 30 in size and taught in lovely classrooms named
after trees. The school has all the advantages of being
near the town centre whilst having the grounds that
you would expect to see in a village school!
In
September we entered into a collaboration with Norton
Fitzwarren C of E Primary School.
Both schools have retained their individual identity
and are governed by their own Governing body, whilst
sharing one headteacher. The collaboration enables us
to make the most of all resources and to share expertise
and opportunities.
At our school we aim to provide the best education we
can for each child. This education will develop their
academic, artistic and creative, physical and personal
skills. We want the children to be confident, able individuals
who value themselves and others and are able to make
a positive contribution to their community and the wider
world.
All the adults involved in the school work together
to create an ethos which will give the children the
best opportunities. We believe that it is important
that this is supported by a close working relationship
between home and school. We have an 'open door' policy
at Staplegrove. If you have any questions or concerns
about your child's education or life at school please
come and talk to us.
We look forward to seeing you really soon and welcoming
you into the “Staplegrove Family”
Kind
regards
