History
History at Staplegrove Church School will inspire and fire children’s curiosity about the past in Britain and the wider world and help them to understand the diversity of human experience. Staplegrove children will be able to draw on comparisons and make connections between different time periods and their own lives, developing their Historical chronology.
We teach history because it provides children with the opportunities to:

We will identify and use opportunities for cross-curricular learning. We will offer children relevant enrichment opportunities to broaden and enhance their History experience to develop well-rounded Staplegrove Historians.
