Our Class News
Friday 16th October 2026Cherry Class thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Somerset Museum this week where we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in all things Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We had the opportunity to create Neolithic cave paintings and jewellery and Iron Age coins, as well as dressing up in replica clothes and using replica tools. The children were fascinating by the real artefacts held at the museum and couldn't believe quite how different Somerset was all those years ago. They were thoroughly engaged with the Iron Age trading game we played, and it was great to see them using their brilliant oracy skills and persuasive language to trade with other tribes and collect everything they needed to survive! - worksheet-answers download_for_offline
